In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur (previously Jubbulpore) is a tier 2 city. It is Madhya Pradesh's third-largest urban agglomeration and the country's 37th-largest urban agglomeration, according to the 2011 census, Madhya Pradesh's administrative, industrial, and business centre is Jabalpur. Jabalpur was called Jabalipuram as
it was the austerity land of Jabali, the son of Bhrigu sage, and according to
some, the old name was Jubbalgarh. Later, during British rule, the name Jabalpur
was changed. At present, the austerity ground of Jabali Muni is at Bhedaghat.

One of the major attractions here is the Dhuandhar falls of the river Narmada. The whole river has converted into a waterfall in this hilly region - the view is as beautiful as it is terrifying. Ropeway-cable car service is available on the river over the dhuandhar jalprapat. On the way to Bhedaghat, there is a small market for shopping. You can buy small items from here. On the way back, take a look at the temple of Chausatta Yogini on the hill. Built-in the 10th century during the reign of the Kalachuri kings, this temple is one of the four Yogini temples in India. The stone temple in the enclosed area. From outside the temple, you can see the beautiful Narmada.
After visiting the temple, go to Panchwati Ghat. From here another major attraction of Jabalpur is the Marble Rock. Various boats are available for hire from the Panchwati ghat to go to Marble Rock. Marble rock Jabalpur is an attractive tourist spot in the city. The Narmada flows through the low hills of different shapes and colours. You will witness various shapes within the rock structures.
These structures and the history of the river and the marble rocks are explained interestingly and funnily by the guide cum boatman. If you have a good sense of humour, don’t forget to ask some questions to the boatman, but be ready to get a witty answer. The steep rocky hills on both sides and Jal Vihar in its middle are a great experience.

After visiting Narmada, in the afternoon visit Madanmahal fort-palace, which is entangled with the memory of Queen Durgavati. Raje Madan Shah Madawi of Mandla (1138–1157), a Gondwana ruler, built a watchtower and a small hilltop fort at Madan Mahal, a Jabalpur suburb. To climb the mountain, you have to climb several stairs. A lot of Jabalpur city can be seen from the roof of the fort. There is a balancing rock next to Rani Durgavati Fort. On the way back you can visit 'Pisanhari Ki Madiya' - Jain Temple.

The Bargi Dam is a huge dam built on the Narmada River in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The dam is used for tourists as well as agricultural projects and electricity generating.
